Hello my treasures! Today, i’m going to tell you the story of my first NFT Crypto art from the collection ‘’abstract leelooart’’ via Open Sea.

Title : ‘’Dévouement et détermination’’

I am honored to be recipient of the bronze medal at the 50th international exhibition of CAPSQ — FRANCE 2019, held from september 23 to 29 ,2019 as part of a prestige exhibition — competition.

The exhibition has taken place at the Fontdouce Abbey. The abbey has 900 years of history, a former benedictine monastery, listed as a historical monument located in the town of Saint-Bris-Des-Bois (Between Saintes and Cognac) in Charente-Maritime.

The Circle welcomes works from all artistic expressions and mediums: WATERCOLOR, DRAWING, ENGRAVING, PASTEL, PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, SCULPTURE and was open to members and to all those who wished to join the CAPSQ.

The exhibition was held as part of a prestigious competition; gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded, as well as major accolades in different styles of performance.

The medals were awarded by the jury composed of personalities recognized in visual arts from the french cultural environment.

Each exhibitor received a diploma of honor from the show, in recognition for his contribution to make the art of his country know on the international scene.
The selection criteria were: ORIGINALITY, AESTHETIC AND TECHNICAL VALUE. Over the years, le cercle has earned a reputation of excellence, mainly thanks to the quality of the works presented, as well as its support for the creation and dissemination of art.

The Circle of Painters and Sculptors of Quebec was founded in 1984 by Mireille Forget; Founding President of CAPSQ.

They are occasionally featured in catalogs and always receive significant media coverage. The openings are under the patronage of the host countries.

INVITATION TO THE REGIONAL NEWSPAPER

Following the news of the award ceremony, i received an invitation from the renowned journalist : Francis Legault.

I have an anecdote from the interview to share with you!

By email, I had sent photos of the certificate and the medal. It was summer and when I went to the newspaper office for the appointment I was wearing a t-shirt with a New York design because I wore clothes daily as a souvenir of an exhibition from my stay. in New York to go to work at my delivery side line at supper time.

After the interview, Francis asked me to take a photograph to show the certificate and medal in the article. I was surprised because I wasn’t expecting it otherwise, I probably would have worn a classic garment. I nodded when he said it was okay even though I’m wearing a New York t-shirt because it looks international.

CONGRATULATIONS MOTION

Following the article in the newspaper, I received a motion of congratulations from Ms. and I would like to thank all of the MRC d’Argenteuil councilors!

The director general and secretary-treasurer of the MRC d´Argenteuil sent me a copy of a resolution unanimously adopted by the council of the MRC, during the regular meeting of February 12, 2020, namely:
